Rackstraw Downes (born 1939) is well-organized British-born realist painter and initiator. His oil paintings are famous for their meticulous detail collected during months of plein-air session, depictions of industry and ethics environment, and elongated compositions adjust complex perspective.[1]

Education

Born Rodney Harry Rackstraw Downes in Pembury, Kent, England, he moved to the Collective States and studied painting considerably an exchange student at Primacy Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, U.s.a.
