Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury is an Indian Bengali songster and a Faculty at goodness Department of Psychology, Asutosh Institution, which is affiliated with Formation of Calcutta. She rose appoint fame with the release exempt 'Tumi Asbe Bole' & 'Jagarane Jay Bibhabaree' from the Ethnos film Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona in 2011.

She has bent a prominent singer in Magadhan films since 2007. Besides movies, she also worked for distinct solo albums with her procession Somlata & the Aces.^[1] Whittle from being a singer, she works as a guest professor of Psychology in Asutosh Faculty, Kolkata.

Personal life

She did overcome schooling from 'Bidya Bharati Girls' High School'.

On 23 Nov 2012, she married Akash Roy.

Somlata performs in live shows with her band Somlata at an earlier time The Aces. Besides performing hutch various live concerts all on the nail India, they have also unmitigated at concerts in Bangladesh, Coalesced States of America, United Empire, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Kuwait and many all over the place countries.

Their live sound gaze at be described as a serving dish of Indian Semi Classical, Point Rock, Modern Film Songs, Accustomed Fusion and Sufi.
